Reading List is Critical

The Florida Department of Education released results of the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) tests on Friday, and students in the School District of Palm Beach County outperformed their peers statewide across every indicator but third grade reading and seventh grade math. Overall, District students outperformed the state and the seven largest districts in Florida in a majority of grade levels in both ELA and math. When compared with the seven largest districts, Palm Beach County had the highest performance or tied with the highest performing districts for grades 4 through 8 in the FSA ELA, and grades 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 in the FSA math test.
